Bert’s claims to have invented the Green Chile Cheeseburger- true or not they have been making them since 1954.
Big flat patties are cooked to order over a fiery charcoal grill. Green chile and cheese are added white the burger cooks and the flames flavor it all. Located at 235 N Guadalupe Street Bert’s has been a Santa Fe favorite for generations.

Some would say “its not a real green chile cheeseburger unless the chile is HOT”! At the Horseman’s Haven Cafe you get two levels of green chile- the first gets your attention- the second is not for the fainthearted. Its really HOT!!
